SEATTLE, WA: I-405 WIDENING AND EXPRESS LANES - BELLEVUE TO LYNNWOOD (B2L)
From 2011 until 2016 Addison Burnet Group was a subcontractor to the Flatiron/AECOM design-build team. As Tolling Coordinator, we helped Flatiron write a winning proposal. Once the job was won, we made sure the toll infrastructure design and construction provided by the DB team would match up with toll vendor requirements. We anticipated problems, reduced technical and schedule risk on this design-build project. Toll system rollout proceeded smoothly and on schedule. We like helping our partners stay on budget and within schedule with express lanes that work.
SEATTLE, WA: I-405 WIDENING AND EXPRESS LANES - RENTON TO BELLEVUE (R2B)
This project is a follow-on to the B2L Express Lanes project. Our role, scheduled to run into Q2 2025, is identical, providing Tolling Coordinator services. We chair the Tolling Task Force, a multi-disciplinary working group, to ensure that the DB team provides a solution that will match up with toll vendor requirements. Addison Burnet also sits on the ITS/Electrical Task Force on this project. We really like when our customers want to team with us on follow-on projects. This $700 million job is no exception.
PORT OF LONG BEACH SECURITY DIVISION ITS
Addison Burnet provided Program Management and Systems Engineering services to the Port on a number of ITS initiatives. In 2020 our team delivered a new Web Portal project for the Port. In 2021 we started work on a Video Analytics System that will integrate digital cameras edge analytics into the Web Portal. The goal is to provide real-time condition assessment to key decision makers at the Joint Command and Control Center as well as enforcement personnel in police vehicles. The results will increase mobility, smooth goods movement velocity and improve security.
